DIY Uke Strap

I made a temporary strap for the new ukulele we brought back from Maui. It’s super easy and super cheap. All you need is a piece of twill tape or ribbon (long enough to wrap around your arm and neck). What I did is simply sew a buttonhole at one end of tape using my sewing machine, and then tie the other end around the neck. If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can cut a hole in the tape and hand-sew the hole to reinforce it. Make sure the hole is not too big or too small.

When I said temporary, it’s because I wanted to make a strap with my fabric, but it might take me a long time to do that. Well, I guess this is good enough for now!
