My Cards at The Mill

Having my cards sold in a retail store is a dream-come-true to me. When I visited The Mill this weekend and saw my cards on display, man, I felt so happy. I never thought this day would come when I first started selling my crafts online. It was simply a hobby. Now I’ve realized that this could be more than just a hobby. It could lead me somewhere if I take it more seriously. So yes, I’ve decided to take it more seriously. By that I mean developing more products, registering my business, looking for more retailers, promoting myself, and even participating in craft shows. There’s so much to do and a long way to go, but I’m happy. Poor, but happy.

Anyways, I want to thank The Mill for being the first shop that carries my handmade goods. The Mill is a boutique shop located in Lonsdale, North Vancouver. They have all sorts of lovely home accessories, lightings, textiles, and furniture, from vintage to modern. The owner Janine teams up with her mom and made some one-of-a-kind pillows and bags for the shop, too. Visit them at 163 E. 1 St., North Vancouver. You’ll love it!

  2. Such a heartfelt post. Annie this is really inspiring. You love what you are doing. Not many people can say that. That love is going to turn into a force of nature, and it will be impossible for you to not do well. In many ways you already are very successful. I don’t know many people who have such courage to chase their dreams. You are very brave!
