I participated in a summer workshop at Domaine de Boisbuchet this summer, which is located in south-west of France. The workshop was led by a creative studio from Spain, called CuldeSac. We worked together in two separate teams but with the same goal in mind: to build a giant typography installation. We wanted to incorporate the landscape into our project, as well as use the material appropriate for the subject matter.
The workshop was one-week long, but the actual construction of the project took 3 days. It involved a lot of trial and error due to it’s size (about 7m x 50m) and requires a lot of team effort. In the end, everyone was quite excited about the result, and it was actually the process that we all enjoyed the most.
